British Royal family news reveals the differences between Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and his brother Prince Harry’s outlook on life are widely dissimilar. While Prince William is preparing himself for his role as the future king, Prince Harry has shown his displeasure about the royal family and their lifestyle, admitting to the public on several occasions that he’s suffered mentally putting up with the royal family. 

Prince William may be content to carry out his royal duties with a smile on his face, but Prince Harry has revealed that life in the royal family caused his mental stress and he feels for his family who are still “trapped” in the firm. “I didn’t see a way out… I was trapped but I didn’t know I was trapped,” the 36-year-old Prince Harry revealed during him and his wife Meghan’s tell-all interview with Oprah in March. “Trapped within the system like the rest of my family. My father and my brother are trapped. They don’t get to leave and I have huge compassion for that.” 

While Prince William, the future heir to the British throne, hasn’t publicly spoken about his brother’s recent claims against the royal family, a source did tell ET that the royal feels far from trapped within the royal family. In fact, Prince William is reportedly learning how to embrace his future as the monarch, by watching this important figure set an example.

Prince William Takes Notes From Queen Elizabeth

Prince William and Kate Middleton have stepped up their game to counter Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attack on “the firm”. But damage control is not all the Duke of Cambridge is doing, he’s also learning from his mentor and grandmother Queen Elizabeth on how to be ready for his future role as the monarch.

Royal biographer Penny Junor, whose works include “Prince William: The Man Who Will Be King”, tells The Sun that William is taking his responsibilities to the crown seriously. “I think he absolutely gets what his destiny is and he is embracing it. He is modeling himself on his grandmother the Queen,” Junor said.

Prince William has publicly disclosed his admiration for his grandmother the Queen in the past. In 2016, Prince William commended the role of his grandmother in his life and how grateful he feels for how she handles the monarchy, allowing him to forge his own path. 

 “Growing up, having this figurehead, having this stability above me has been incredible,” William told ITV at the time. “I have been able to explore, understand, slightly carve my own path. I greatly appreciate and value that protection.”

Royal Expert Reveals That Prince William Is “Completely Accepting” Of His Role In The Royal Family

Royal expert Roya Nikkhah previously shared with the Sunday Times that William is “completely accepting” of his role in the royal family. Nikkhah even went ahead to compare Prince William to his iconic grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, “He is very much his grandmother’s grandson in that respect of duty and service.”

Despite Harry’s claims that his father and brother are trapped in the royal family, William is proving that he takes his job as a senior royal and future monarch seriously, and with his grandmother as a guide, he will no doubt make her proud when he ascends the throne.
