British Royal family news suggests he’s damned if he does, and definitely damned if he doesn’t. There’s a new report that says Prince William is being criticized for his cavalier treatment of his wife Kate Middleton while the two were out and about greeting well-wishers outside the gates of Windsor Castle this weekend. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, the newly-minted Prince of Wales could have done a better job of showing his wife a little more affection in public. A lot of people noticed that his brother Prince Harry acted more like the gentleman when he made the effort to open the car door for his wife Meghan Markle before going in the car himself. Unfortunately, William didn’t even bother to open the car for his wife Kate.
If that weren’t enough, a lot of people also noticed the distance and gap between William and Kate when they first got out of the car while Harry and Meghan were holding hands and managed to stay side by side the entire time. “Where in hell is #Catherine?” one social media user wrote. “A picture speaks a thousand words! Such distance between her and her husband. Such a big gap! Did #Kate walk before her husband #PrinceWilliam? Awkward!”
Of course, other royal fans couldn’t help but comment on the matter with, “All the couples I know that are in miserable marriages look the happiest in public. All those confident in their love for each other, don’t feel the need to put on a show,” along with, “This is all conjecture we will never know what goes on behind doors. And PDA is not a bad thing it shows some empathy. These are two different couples who have different ways of showing their affection. It doesn’t make one better than the other or one less than the other just different. One thing for sure William is reserved and Harry wears his heart on his sleeve one is like his father and the other like his mother.”

And then there was this comment, “This is just another way to create a story for the press. Every move is being evaluated and inferences being made that do not exist. Give them some room to grieve, each in their own way. At this time give them some privacy. As usual the death of Queen Elizabeth gives rise to stories which the press with bleed on a daily basis until the life has been squeezed out of it. Then they will move on to the next ones. It reminds me of vultures who will pick the bones dry.”

Isn’t there security protocol about entering vehicles etc. They would make a much easier target both getting in the vehicle together through one door. Besides Kate has shown she is a very capable, strong and intelligent woman during these past rough years. She has shown she can step up and support her family in the face of adversity. She doesn’t need William to fall all over her in public, she’s a modern woman secure in her relationship. How many modern women these days want some fawning, puppet of a man, we can vote these days you know!
Catherine took off first, my guess to get away from Megan. Both grieve differently leave them alone.
Agree that William and Kate are grieving terribly and then had to do a walkabout with millions of people watching them. Yes I thought William could have opened Kate’s door for her. They are all going through a rehash of Diana’s death walking behind the casket and being strong when all they want to do is sit down and cry. As for Meghan, she very obviously could not handle this pomp and circumstance with Harry few ahead of her. She is very insecure and has to hang on Harry at every interval available. She is not a Princess or Duchess material She’s a commoner who didn’t and will not be a person told what to do. She’s dragging Harry down. Maybe this awful sudden death will teach both of them a lesson
I can’t believe what I’m reading! Is this a scripted soap opera? These are real people with feelings and the public is critiquing their movements under a microscope. Stop already and give them some privacy, space & respect.
These people are grieving over their precious Grandmother. Why must anyone judge them while they are going through one of the hardest times of their entire lives???!!! They have to grieve in front of billions of people. It’s not the time to judge anyone.
May we please instead show the entire Royal Family compassion, love and prayers ♥️
