More than 1,000 individuals put William ahead of King Charles, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden.

This is excellent news for the future king as he prepares for an official visit to the US in September.

Royal Family News: Prince William Is Top Of The Heap

How is it that in a country who rejected British rule, Prince William is more popular than its own elected president?

A friend of William and Princess Kate told The Daily Beast: “They have been quietly getting on with the job, letting actions speak louder than words. With everything going on in the world, people appreciate that.”

Is that a knock on motor mouths Harry and Meghan? It could be, and William’s popularity could also be due to the influence of his late mother Diana.

Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter said “There is huge affection for William because of Diana, and there is a sense that he is now living the happy ending that Diana never got—happily married and raising his children.” Can the same be said for reviled Harry?

Gallup itself conjectured that “memories of Diana could also explain why William has even more stratospheric approval ratings among American women, 69 percent of whom like him, compared to 50 percent of men.”

William will be in the US on Sept. 16 and 17 for an Earthshot Prize conference. William’s personal initiative awards $1 million annually to five persons with persuasive ecological innovations.

The project’s goal is to “find and grow the solutions that will repair our planet this decade.”

Royal News: William More Popular Than Harry

Arbiter added that she was in Boston when William was last in the US for an Earthshot Prize event and huge groups came out to see the prince.

The polling comes on the heels of the official royal website removing Harry’s HRH title three years after he ran away from the monarchy in order to make money.

Gallup should have the last word on the surprising and ironic poll results: “The signers of the Declaration of Independence would be surprised to know that nearly 250 years after they sought freedom from the ‘tyranny’ of the British crown, the highest-ranking members of that institution would be more popular in the United States than the nation’s own democratically elected and appointed leaders.” Chew on that.
