British royal family news shows that sources are saying that William and Kate, the duke and duchess of Cambridge, showed that they will do whatever it takes to preserve the monarchy, starting by bringing it into the 21st century. They have just finished up an arduous royal visit abroad which was an unexpected test of their mettle and character.

According to one source, the pair, who will one day be queen and king, “have vowed to rip up the royal rule book and pursue ‘The Cambridge Way’ following their difficult tour of the Caribbean starting with the abandonment of his grandmother and father’s ‘never complain, never explain’ mantra.”

Before leaving the Bahamas on Saturday he said, “I know this tour has brought into even sharper focus questions about the past and the future. In Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas, that future is for the people to decide upon. Catherine and I are committed to service. It’s not about telling people what to do. Who the Commonwealth chooses to lead its family in the future isn’t what is on my mind.”
