Royal Family News – Prince William Says His Mother Would Have Been A “Nightmare” Grandma
According to People, William shares how he keeps his mother’s memory alive for his children. For instance, there are numerous photos of her in the house he and Kate Middleton share with their three children and William says that he talks about her “constantly” with his children, none of whom were born at the time of her death.
As part of his interview William talks about how both he and his wife Kate handle the memory of his late mother. “It’s hard because obviously Catherine didn’t know her, so she cannot really provide that—that level of detail.”

“So, I do [when] regularly putting George or Charlotte to bed, talk about her and just try and remind them that there are two grandmothers, there were two grandmothers in their lives, and so it’s important that they know who she was and that she existed.”
At one point William is asked what kind of grandma his mother Diana would have been. According to him, if she were alive today she would have been, in his loving words, a “nightmare.”

He joked, “She’d be a nightmare grandmother, absolute nightmare. She’d love the children to bits, but she’d be an absolute nightmare. She’d come and go and she’d come in probably at bath time, cause an amazing amount of scene, bubbles everywhere, bathwater all over the place and—and then leave.”
It sounds like William thinks his late mother would have been a terrific, if indulgent, grandmother!
It was rumored that Prince William contracted coronavirus last spring, but neither he nor the palace has confirmed nor denied the story. At the present time his grandfather, Prince Philip, is in the hospital for an undisclosed condition although it was stated that he does not have coronavirus.
