British royal family news divulges that the Prince and Princess of Wales are trying their best to help support their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis following the death of Queen Elizabeth in September. William and Kate have done a tremendous job of balancing their official roles with their parenting duties according to one royal expert who has written four biographies on the queen.
Royal reporter Jennie Bond has followed the progress of the Wales’ for years and has valuable insight into how the family is adjusting to major life changes. For now, Kate and William are spending quality time with their children who enjoying a school break.
Royal Family News – The Wales Family Have Had Major Upheavals
This summer the Wales family moved from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate grounds. Accordingly the kids changed schools, and for the first time all three are attending the same school, with their parents often picking them up and dropping them off.
Bond told OK! magazine that the Princess of Wales wants this to be school break, “as normal as possible.”
Royal Family News – Princess Kate Is a Fantastic Mom
Bond predicts that the family of five will spend the next weeks and months, “settling into” their new home and roles. She said, “After their great-granny’s passing, William and Catherine will try to move things on as quickly as possible and not dwell too much on the sadness of the last couple of months.”
The family reportedly has enjoyed a plethora of outdoor activities in their new home including bike and horse riding. Bond added that at school the children have enjoyed cooking competitions and trampolining.
Royal Family News – The Wales Are Settling In
The royal watcher thinks that as a father Prince William will have made every effort to, “shield the children from,” any toward grief they may be feeling. He was a teen when his mother Princess Diana died in a tragic car crash and he experienced the trauma of losing a close loved one.
She said, “William will undoubtedly have moments where he feels very sad,” and he issued a poignant statement following his grandmother’s death. His statement read in part: “My wife has had twenty years of her guidance and support. My three children have got to spend holidays with her and create memories that will last their whole lives. She was by my side at my happiest moments. And she was by my side during the saddest days of my life.”
