Royal Family News: Prince William Signals He Is Taking Over For Displaced Prince Harry With Armed Forces Calls

British royal family news reveals that today Prince William had video calls to thank Armed Forces for their Covid vaccine efforts, mere hours after Prince Harry was removed as a member of the working royal family and stripped of all of his patronages.

Video of the Zoom calls was posted to Instagram as the Queen prepares to hand Prince Harry’s military patronages to, “working members of the Royal family.”

It is a clear signal that William, who achieved the rank of Major during his time with the British Army, will take over for Hollywood Harry as Captain General of the Royal Marines.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Is No Longer A Working Member Of The Royal Family

Today it was announced that Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer working members of the royal family and as such they were stripped of their patronages and titles including Harry’s roles as Honorary Air Force Commandant of the Royal Air Force Base Honington and Honorary Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Naval Commands’ Small Ships and Diving.

The Queen reportedly will announce the new of owners of these roles and patronages this summer, but William’s calls were a sure sign that rumors of him taking over Harry’s military roles is a done deal.

In the video shared to the kensingtonroyal Instagram account, William asks, “Are people maybe seeing there is light at the end of this tunnel?” and one can’t help but infer that perhaps he himself is seeing the light at the end of the tortuous Megxit tunnel?

In the video calls with five uniformed personnel the Prince noted that that more than 5,000 military troops are now working with the NHS to vaccinate individuals in priority groups.

When William asked, “Are you hearing hope and optimism coming out now?” one service member replied, “We’ve still got a long way to go but I think a lot of people come in with that keen, eager, enthusiasm because they do start to see light at the end of the tunnel now. It’s a real joy and a privilege to be there to help get them done.”

Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla have all received their vaccinations and currently Philip is hospitalized due to a mystery, non-Covid issue.

In recent days Harry seemed to drive the queen’s decision by declaring he and Meghan are having a tell-all interview with Oprah. Days before that they announced that they are expecting their second child.
