Royal Family News: Prince William Tells World Leaders To Think Outside The Box

British royal family news shows that Prince William is taking pride of place at the COP26 summit being held in Scotland. Today he asked world leaders to think outside of the box in order to preserve the health of the planet.

The Duke of Cambridge spoke of the immediate urgency for people to, “’think differently” if the battle against global warming is to be won within a decade.

His speech was delivered at a key World Leaders’ Summit session at the Glasgow meetup.

Royal Family News – Prince William Has Cred Harry Does Not

It was delivered the day after the Queen delivered a powerful speech upon the same theme. Prince William said: ‘If we are to achieve our goal to repair our planet in what is now less than a decade, it is our shared responsibility to continue thinking differently, acting boldly, and making the impossible, possible.’

Earlier, he spoke to the first group of The Earthshot Prize winners, finalists and several members of the Earthshot Global Alliance at the Glasgow Science Centre.

Royal Family News – Prince William Taking Action

The Prize Winners met with industry leaders and experts to discuss their innovative ideas to the world’s biggest environmental challenges.

Prince William and former New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, were reunited in their mutual fight to save the planet. Bloomberg is one of the world’s wealthiest men estimated to be worth more than 60 billion US dollars. He is a global advisor to the Earthshot Prize winners and hosted this morning’s event.

The Global Alliance is a group of philanthropists, NGOs and some of the world’s leading companies. It will help support and bring to life the ground-breaking solutions developed by the Earthshot Prize winners.

The inaugural Earthshot Prize Awards took place on 17th October. William shed light on the winners during the ‘Accelerating Clean Technology Innovation and Deployment’ session in one of the plenary rooms. There the winners and world leaders came together.

Indian Vinisha Umashankar is at 15-years old the youngest Earthshot Prize Finalist. Her idea is a solar powered ironing cart to supplant India’s charcoal-powered street irons. The solar-powered invention takes just five hours of sunshine to run the iron for six hours.
