Royal Family News: Prince William Tried To Extend An Olive Branch To Prince Harry And Meghan

British Royal Family News says that even though it might look like these two royal brothers are on opposite sides of the spectrum, it seems like at least one of them did try to make peace.

In fact, there’s a new report that suggests Prince William did try and offer an olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the last time that they were in London but unfortunately, it fell through. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Dan Wootton of the Daily Mail, the Prince of Wales tried to make peace with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex soon after Queen Elizabeth died back in September.

He recalled that “William managed to do just that in the days before the funeral of the late Queen, even offering an olive branch to Harry and Meghan by suggesting a joint walkabout outside Windsor Castle after hearing the Sussexes were planning to do something on their own seeming to, as ever, steal the limelight. But that’s, in part, what is most frustrating for William and Kate.”

Wootton added that it wasn’t just William and Kate who tried to let bygones be bygones. He said, “The entire family tried so hard to include Harry and Meghan during the mourning period for the late Queen, yet it made absolutely no difference to their vile behaviour in the months that followed.”

Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have commented on the matter with, “I still haven’t heard them say what exactly Harry has done? Has Harry violently assaulted his brother, and then tell him he must keep the abuse from his wife?” along with, “What has Harry done? He told the truth and is holding them accountable. Something that has never happened to Catotonic his ENTIRE life. He’s in total shock and doesn’t know how to process it.”

Another critic wrote, “So what stands out to me, besides the fact that this is bonkers, is the repeated emphasis on William needing to be protected, William’s reputation being at risk, etc. It really sounds like William wants to attack Harry, physically or verbally or both, and he does not care who is around. He’ll do it at Westminster Abbey, he’ll do it if they’re on the balcony together, etc.”
