British royal family news shows that this is a year for celebration as Queen Elizabeth celebrates her Platinum Jubilee. The event commemorates 70 years on the throne and it is a historic milestone. And yet there is rumbling in the monarchy, as certain family members threaten to bring shade to the party.

In this case it’s being reported Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir could be a diatribe against his family (big surprise) with Camilla coming under fire. You remember Camilla, she is Prince Charles’ second wife and allegedly busted up his marriage to Harry’s mom the late Diana.

The family has legit cause for concern because Prince Harry and his lovely wife Meghan have made the rounds repeatedly trashing his family for everything from cutting off their allowance to not letting her wear the tiara she wanted at their all expenses paid wedding.

And so the media have been speculating that the family have been trying to appease the redheaded volcano, as if they can tame the beast who has gone on many rampages against them.

According to The Sun Charles has told his inner circle that he is afraid Harry’s book will be an “excoriating takedown” of his wife Camilla. If so it could go either way in terms of public opinion. It could make the public sympathetic to a woman they have loathed in the past, or it could increase the momentum that exists among those who do not like her.

Either way it would be extremely upsetting to Prince Charles to see his son bad mouth his wife in public. And he knows what that feels like since Harry has been unrepentant in bad mouthing Charles.

So where does this leave Harry’s brother William? A source told The Sun that William wants to steer clear of the bruhaha although Charles has asked that he, “go in and bat for Camilla.”

The insider said, “Charles has shared his concerns with William, and is keen he somehow goes on the record and sticks up for Camilla, should the book attack her. But as much as William loves his father, he’s unlikely to want to get involved. In all likelihood he will try and stay neutral.”

The source notes that, “There are concerns about Prince Harry’s recollections of Camilla’s entry into the Royal Family, and how her long-running romance with Charles damaged him from a young age.
