British royal family news reveals that this week bombshell info about Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex writing a tell-all memoir dropped. The reaction was swift and hardly laudatory, with some royal experts decrying his fake pleas for privacy and some insinuating that Meghan his wife would be writing it for him.
Others think that he is brewing another hatchet job on his family, and the book is just an excuse to take them and the monarchy down.
Prince Harry Is Writing A Tell-all
Now comes word that Prince Harry’s put-upon brother Prince William is up to a bit of writing himself. Harry’s memoir will be released by Penguin Random House sometime in 2022. Meanwhile Prince William is writing the introduction for Earthshot: How to Save Our Planet, a book about the Earthshot Prize.
The book itself was written by Colin Butfield, former executive director of the conservation group WWF, and award-winning producer/director Jonnie Hughes. Earthshot will come out this year, before the actual Earthshot Prize awards ceremony is held on October 17, 2021.
William and his wife Kate Middleton announced the Earthshot Prize last year. At that time William explained that the prize is for those who come up with solutions for climate change. The award aims to achieve these lofty goals: Protect and restore nature; Clean our air; Revive our oceans; Build a waste-free world; and Fix our climate. It is inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s “Moonshot,” the effort to put Americans on the moon. There will be multiple winners over multiple years.

The Cambridge’s Have A New Award For Global Citizens
The book Earthshot: How to Save Our Planet is based on, “the urgency of the environmental challenges facing our world while also providing readers with inspirational case studies of the incredible solutions happening globally to repair our planet.” There is also a five-part BBC One series that premieres this fall.
The book has passages from Christiana Figueres, the former UN Climate Chief responsible for the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, singer Shakira Mebarak, environmental activist Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, former astronaut Naoko Yamazaki, and broadcaster and historian Sir David Attenborough.
Earthshot will beat Prince Harry’s as yet untitled memoir to the book shelves. In case anyone is wondering, Harry’s literary release promises to be a barn burner. According to the publishing house’s announcement Harry’s life story will be, “the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”
