The news of Princess Anne’s beef with her sister-in-law Camilla comes after pics that seem to show some iciness on Anne’s part. According to body language expert Judi James, Anne, “looked as though she wanted to establish a ‘barrier’ between herself and Camilla”.

Following up on this statement, Christine-Marie Liwag Dixon added that, “Camilla’s entrance into the Royal Family wasn’t particularly graceful. There was a lot of drama associated with her and Prince Charles’ long-lasting, not-so-secret, affair. So it’s no wonder that the royals were reluctant to welcome her with open arms.”

Princess Anne Doesn’t Like Camilla?

Dixon went on to say that, “As reported, just two months after Camilla married Charles, Princess Anne seemingly tried to ice Camilla out of a conversation between her and the heir to the throne.” According to James, Anne looked like she wished to make a “barrier” between herself and Camilla, referring to a photo from an Order of the Garter service.

Each June, on the traditional Garter Day, the Queen, Knights, and Ladies process through Windsor Castle to St George’s Chapel. In 2005 a picture of Anne, Camilla, and Prince Charles at the event was much remarked upon.

Royal Family News – Camilla Will One Day Be Queen?

According to James, “There seems to be a sense of exclusion here as Anne stands closer to her brother to apparently push Camilla out of the small group here. [She’s] even raising her arm so that her elbow forms a barrier gesture. Both Charles and Anne look grim-faced here, rather than sociable.” Anne is known for her bold personality, could her feelings about Camilla have leaked out in her body language on that day?
