British royal family news revels that Princess Anne has been a phenomenal support to her mother Queen Elizabeth following the departure of three senior working royals. According to one royal expert, she has been key in keeping The Firm running.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams notes that the monarch is without three key members of the monarchy: Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Prince Andrew. Fitzwilliams said that in response, the Princess Royal is a “terrific” asset to the Queen.

He told Express.co.uk, “One has to remember the Royal Family hasn’t got many senior working royals at the moment. It has lost three for various reason. So she’s a terrific support.”

His comments follow the Duke of York pulling back from royal duties after his disastrous BBC interview over his association with dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Fitzwilliams claims Anne won’t take on a more prominent role in the wake of Meghan and Harry’s departure saying, “She has the role she wants. She is a tremendously hard worker. She doesn’t want the sort of celebrity or glamorous profile. And she certainly has no intention of slowing down at 70. I don’t know how much more she can fit in.”

He went on to say that, “What she wants is the concentration on her work and that is precisely what she gets and I think she’s very pleased with that. What she would find very frustrating is of course the fact that she can’t currently carry out her duties for obvious reasons.”
