Royal Family News – Princess Beatrice Is A New Mom
Beatrice is the oldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. She gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
The baby’s name has not been revealed and she is the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild and 11th in line to the throne. The Queen is, “delighted with the news,” the palace announced.
The newest baby in the royal family will not have a royal title since only grandchildren of the monarch through the male line are automatically given the title HRH. But, the Queen could give a title if she wished or if it were requested.
Beatrice and her husband were photographed several times in London this summer, and they attended Wimbledon in July.
Royal Family News -The Royals Gain A New Member
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea and Westminster has a private Kensington maternity wing, “which charges a starting price of £7,450 for a platinum vaginal delivery package and £9,050 for a platinum elective or emergency section package.”
This lofty price includes meals and accommodation for the mother’s partner plus a private room for the first night after delivery.
The good news counterbalances somewhat the negative news surrounding Beatrice’s immediate family, as her father Prince Andrew is the plaintiff in a US civil sexual assault lawsuit.
It was reported that he and the Queen have held crisis talks with their advisers in regard to Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s sex abuse lawsuit. Andrew has not publicly commented on the matter.
Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Is In Trouble
Giuffre accuses Andrew of sexually abusing her on three occasions when she was a minor and claims that she was trafficked by Andrew’s friend, dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew denies the allegations and his lawyers have argued that he has not been officially served papers in the case although they were accepted by his security guard. Last week the London High Court ruled that they would become involved if need be to in order to have Andrew himself served with the papers.
