Royal Family News: Princess Eugenie Being Forced To Pick Between Prince Harry And Family?

Well, this certainly isn’t fair, no matter how you look at it. British Royal News says that there’s a new report suggesting Princess Eugenie has to pick a side between Prince Harry and the royal family’s ongoing war.

This, despite the fact that she actually has a very good relationship with her cousin and that it should have nothing to do with her position within the royal family. Here’s what you need to know.

Princess Eugenie is being slammed for going neutral in the war between the Sussexes and the Royal Family – as if she even has a say in all of it. The Telegraph even wrote, “As a result, a go-between is also not much use, and Eugenie’s role as peacekeeper may appear to some as betrayal.

Ultimately when a battle is this fraught, you have to choose which side to stand on – and hovering in the middle rarely wins you many friends. Perhaps it is no coincidence that at Thursday’s Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey organized by the Princess of Wales, Eugenie was one of few royals not wearing a burgundy-hued coat – a color some have speculated was chosen as a sign of unity.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Royals?

Whoa. Back in July, it was reported that both Eugenie and her sister Beatrice were trying to heal the family rift for the safe of the monarchy. According to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, he believes that Eugenie and Beatrice are doing what they can to repair relations among Harry and Meghan and other royals such as Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. But it hasn’t been easy.

Speaking to Express in a new interview, Fitzwilliams puts it this way, “I suspect the York sisters’ good relations with Harry and Meghan are very beneficial to the monarchy. It is perhaps a relief that we do not know any details, but the healing of rifts is best done quietly.”

That said, it seems like Eugenie is the one person that Harry can count on, through the good times and the bad. In fact, Harry quarantined with Eugenie and Jack during his first trip back to the UK in April 2021 for their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral. Here’s hoping that their friendship and love for one another continues to blossom over the years and that within time Harry’s relationship with his brother Prince William will be repaired, too.
