According to Britain’s Mirror.co.uk, Eugenie got into trouble with Queen Elizabeth for sharing an off-limits photo of her dad that was taken behind-the-scenes at Buckingham Palace. This was even before Prince Andrew began making headlines for his controversial connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew says that he barely knew Epstein, but photos seem to prove otherwise.

In an interview with Vogue Magazine, Eugenie spoke about the photo and how it put her on the naughty list with her grandmother. She said that she struggled to choose a photo to help celebrate Father’s Day, thinking a pic from Balmoral would be “too personal” but one from Ascot “too formal.” She ended up sharing a photo of her father as he prepared for his first Trooping the Colour as Colonel in Chief of the Grenadier Guards.

Eugenie said, “I recently got in trouble for posting a picture of Papa in a corridor of the palace that was off-limits to the public.”

These days Princess Eugenie doesn’t have to worry about what photos she should share and which ones she should keep private as Prince Andrew has mostly been banned from being seen in public because of his association with Jeffrey Epstein. And while he might not be as hated as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are for their most recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which they dragged the entire royal family under the bus, he is most definitely persona non grata at royal engagements and public appearances. Well, at least for now.
