According to Express, should Eugenie and Jack decide to make the move to California, it would be a “blip in the radar” for the royals. As many fans already know, the royal couple have already moved to Portugal as they wanted to keep their distance from all the drama back at Buckingham Palace, including Eugenie’s controversial ties with dead financier Jeffrey Epstein and of course, his sexual assault lawsuit.
But according to royal historian Marlene Koening, Eugenie’s move to Los Angeles shouldn’t be much of a concern for anyone because she’s not a high-ranking royal like Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.
Koening put it this way, “Eugenie is now the niece of the king, no longer the granddaughter of the Queen. She is HRH Princess Eugenie, Mrs. Jack Brooksbank, official style but she lives a more private life. She has no office at the Palace or official duties.”
