Royal Family News: Princess Mako Speaks Out After Controversial Marriage

Princess Mako Japanese royal family news shows that Japan’s former Princess Mako and her commoner husband Kei Komuro are free of the restraints of royalty and able to live life as a normal everyday married couple.

Royal Family News – Princess Mako Is Now Common

On Tuesday the niece of Emperor Naruhito wed Komuro in a non-flashy event. Marrying the common man of her dreams entailed giving up her royal status and she rejected, “a $1.3 million payout from the Japanese government that is traditionally paid to royal women who lose their royal status when they marry,” according to People.

This next part is a bit sad, so we issue a warning: “The Imperial Household Agency (IHA) explained that Mako and her now-husband did not want to have a big wedding because their marriage is not celebrated by many people.” Wow, that is a bit harsh isn’t it?

Royal Family News – Mako is Not Celebrated By Many

Nonetheless it is reality that Mako and Komuro are not exactly popular for their actions, with the media dubbing them the Japanese version of the UK’s Harry and Meghan. After the marriage ceremony they faced journalists and addressed the controversy surrounding their relationship. Now this is where they diverge completely from Harry and Meghan who would have sued the media, not talked to them.

Why is this marriage so looked down upon, other than the above-mentioned reasons? Here’s where Mako and hubs converge with Meghan’s reportedly shady family history. Apparently the wedding, “was delayed due to a dispute over money between Komuro’s mother and her former fiancé concerning his having financed Komuro’s education — inviting speculation about whether Komuro’s marital intentions were fueled by money.” Oh my. In other words Komuro has been branded a gold digger, something Meghan has been accused of as well.

Brave Mako told the assembled media: “We will be starting a new life. I am sure we will encounter difficulties along the way. But just as we have until now, I want to continue joining forces [with Kei], and walking together side by side.”

“Our loyalty to each other is thanks to our devotion to one another and thanks to the presence of all those who supported us,” she continued. “There are many who understand the difficulty of living while protecting our hearts. I hope that we can create a society where we can all live and support each other’s feelings.”

And Sing Kumbaya, Too!

Alas in another striking similarity to Harry and Meghan, “The couple is likely to relocate to the United States. Komuro graduated from Fordham School of Law in New York City this year and currently works for law firm Lowenstein Sandler LLP. He recently completed the New York state bar exam and is awaiting his results.” We eagerly await the Lifetime movie.

Mr. Komuro himself has caused career fraud and multiple bullying problems in the past. In Japan, there are many pictures and episodes where you can see the back face, such as a picture of him in an obscene pose with a woman. However, in consideration of Princess Mako, the media is regulated overseas.
Komuro also won a college scholarship with the help of Princess Mako, but failed his lawyer exam due to lack of real power. Komuro is the only person who has received this scholarship in the past to fail the exam.

Princess Mako is behind the scenes of various aids banned by the imperial family for Mr. Komuro. Even if they ostensibly refuse the lump sum payment, the tax will continue to flow to them. The two know it, of course. This is by no means pure love.

However, in the name of pure love, the two are trying to silence the people. Princess Mako does not admit her fake illness to the truth that is inconvenient for her excuse, and she is squeezing for Mr. Komuro.

There is a lack of information in this news article.
At the press conference at the time of Mako and Komuro's marriage, they did not take questions from reporters and forcefully ended the press conference by stating only their point of view.

Here are the questions they just denied without any evidence

Since it has been determined that this marriage will not lead to "a situation that will satisfy and please many people," as Prince Akishino had hoped, the related ceremonies will not take place. We believe that the reasons for the lack of "acceptance and blessing" are (1) that Mr. Komuro's mother's financial troubles have not been resolved and (2) that there are matters in Mr. Komuro's background that could be perceived as "use of the imperial family. Regarding (1), Mr. Komuro has said that he intends to negotiate directly with his mother's former fiancee. Please explain in detail the current situation regarding the financial trouble that began and the allegations of fraudulent receipt of a bereaved family pension by Mr. Komuro's mother, who has already been criminally charged.

Also, in April of this year, His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince revealed that Mako had consulted with you about how to handle the situation up to now. Also, with regard to "understanding and blessing," how do HIH Princess Mako and Mr. Komuro themselves view the current situation and how do they feel about it?

    to be continued,

The problem about this couple is they are still relying on Japanese tax payers' money indirectly.
If they truly make living only by themselves there would not have been so much criticism.
However, their selfish desire to live in New York has cost them $8 million a year in security costs and New York Department of Foreign Affairs have a team to take care of them.
In addition, all living expenses of the royal family are paid by taxpayers, but it is said Mako still receives living expenses as gifts from her grandmother, the Empress Emerita.
That was originally the tax by the Japanese people.
