Royal Family News: Queen Elizabeth Buys £62,000 Luxury Golf “Car”

British royal family news reveals that Queen Elizabeth now has a high tech golf cart to ferry her around, following reports she refuses to be seen in public in a wheelchair. The alleged £62,000 vehicle will be used to help the 95-year old monarch get around outdoors as she is experiencing mobility issues, to the point she can no longer walk her corgis.

In some respects the conveyance is more like a “party bus” complete with refrigerator and entertainment screen, and room for four. It’s been reported she give it a spin two weeks ago with her beloved dogs trotting alongside as she toured Windsor Castle grounds.

Queen Elizabeth has been using a cane for the past six months and has had an elevator installed for her use at Balmoral Castle.

The Queen Has A State Of The Art Cart

The state of the art cart is made by Garia, a Danish manufacturer of premium golf “cars” and has a battery that can run 50 miles before recharging. The firm is described as the ‘Rolls-Royce’ of the golf cart arena, and the queen is thought to have the ‘Monaco’ model.

As she drives or is driven, the queen will sit in a brown-leather seat and can grab a snack or drink from the cart’s mini fridge. She can also check out a tablet-style screen by the steering wheel if she is so inclined, and if a sudden storm appears, the cart has all-weather enclosures.

A source told The Sun, “She’s been through a lot of physical battles recently with Covid and her back sprain, which would take its toll on anyone — let alone someone who turns 96 next month.”

“The cart is a new addition to the castle, and they all think it’s a great idea… it’s certainly fit for a Queen and hopefully it will help her fulfil her engagements.”

The monarch has had to cancel several recent engagements due to mobility issues. She was hospitalized last fall and tested positive for Covid in February. The source added, “Everyone wants her to carry on for as long as possible being seen by the public. I’m sure the Queen would rather walk to events and carry on as normal, but she is struggling at the moment.”

It has been reported that the queen refuses to use a wheelchair in public. Sources claim that she was appalled at the sight of her late sister Margaret in a wheelchair and refuses to be seen in the same way.
