Royal Family News: Queen Elizabeth Put Prince Charles In His Place Over Megxit

British royal family news teases that Queen Elizabeth put Prince Charles on notice over the infamous Megxit bombshell dropped by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The Queen and Charles were on different sides of the fence regarding how to treat the truculent Meghan and Harry after they spilled their dirty laundry to the world that they were ditching their roles as senior royals.

Royal Family News –  Megxit Was A Bombshell

The thirsty pair were motivated by money, they openly boasted that they wanted financial independence from the Sovereign Grant which meant they wanted to be allowed to make a boatload of money. But at the same time they wanted to keep all of their perks, patronages and the right to represent the Queen and the Crown with visits and tours, which would no doubt bring in even more moolah.

They wanted a half-in, half-out solution in which they would do as they like, benefiting from being royalty but having to put in none of the actual work.

Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer reported that Prince Charles was going along with the the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wishes.

Royal Family News – Prince Charles Went Along With His Son

He said, “When the Sussexes first announced their intention to quit and seek to make their own money, Prince Charles thought it possible for them to continue half in and half out of the Firm.”

“But in the end the Queen decided it was impossible for the Sussexes to earn money commercially and represent the monarchy officially.”

They, along with Prince William, were forced to hammer out the details in a summit at Sandringham last January, after brash Meghan and Prince Harry left them no choice.

Royal Family News – Prince William Was Not Amused

On top of his unctuous Megxit move, Harry had the bad manners to be late to the summit and William was so angry with him he refused to sit down for a meal with him, according to royal expert Katie Nicholl.

She told ET, “When William went to the Sandringham summit, he was so angry with his brother, he couldn’t even face going to that lunch with the Queen. He only went for the meeting, such was his frustration. He had a feeling of disappointment about what his brother had done and how Harry was handling the situation.”

The terms of the Megxit deal were expected to be revisited this March but there are conflicting statements as to whether it will happen, either virtually or in person.

Halfsies is for kindergarteners. Harry is a grown man.

They didn’t snub the Queen. He’s not going to be king but he’s still more level headed than his family permitting Charles to carry on an affair and then let the mistress become part of the family . Stop pretending that your values have never been tarnished. And Charles did nothing to help others

The Queen is quite right. It's absurd to snub your country as Harry has done and expect to hold on to duties. How can someone who wants to voice his political opinions expect to represent the military, that's rediculous. What is Charles thinking! I don't think Charles is in touch with the people of he thinks such a situation is plausible! The Queen has a large family, Harry isn't much of a loss with his new reckless attitude. Best the Queen give these privileges to family members who will regard them as such and carry out their duties in a reliable and intelligent fashion. Harry is only good now for latching onto Hollywood celebrities, but I can't see many of them wanting to be discredited by association with Harry and Megan's cheap and tacky carnival show lifestyle. Any good cause they now associate themselves with is lost under their negative baggage.
