British royal family news divulges that Queen Elizabeth is set to break a record and no, it has nothing to do with her fly by night grandson Prince Harry; that broken record has come and gone. Literally.

This record is a much happier one. Her Majesty, and hopefully her husband, will get to witness the birth of their tenth and eleventh great-grandchildren in 2021, the most of any UK royal. Queen Elizabeth was crowned in June 1953, and she is the longest-reigning living monarch to date.

Queen Elizabeth is having to balance the happy baby news with the reality that her 99-year old husband Philip is set to spend the weekend in the hospital with an undisclosed illness. He was taken there Tuesday and there is no word on what his ailment might be but it was said to be non-COVID related.

The past few days have been epic for the queen, with her husband admitted to the hospital, her ninth great-grandchild born, and having to deal with the unwelcome, attention seeking antics of Harry and Meghan. After announcing their upcoming child, they dropped the bomb that they will appear in a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. It was made clear that no subject is off limits and this is widely taken to mean that lots of royal dirt will be spilled.
