Royal Family News – Queen Elizabeth’s Grandson Peter Phillips Broke COVID Travel Restrictions?

Apparently the local police wanted Queen Elizabeth’s grandson, Peter Phillips, to answer a few questions after he was discovered hundreds of miles away from his home over the weekend.

According to The Sun, the son of Princess Anne was busted after angry locals spotted him outside the home of an unidentified woman in St. Cyrus, Scotland. This is about 400 miles from his family home, Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire, England.

The locals were not impressed that he was presumably allowed to break the rules while they were shut in like sardines.

Sources told the outlet that Peter’s ginormous gas guzzling Range Rover was spotted outside the woman’s home on Saturday. “It seems wrong he has travelled here from England, whatever the circumstances,” they said. “Scotland is closed and if you flew here you would have to quarantine for ten days.” Scotland currently only permits travel for “essential purposes,” while England is under a strict stay-at-home order.

In other words, unless there were extenuating circumstances it would seem that Peter had been a bad boy.

All of this is not speculation as a bona fide Scottish police spokesperson confirmed that, “At around 6.40pm on Friday 26 March, 2021, police received a report of a potential breach of coronavirus regulations at a property in St Cyrus, Montrose. Officers attended, spoke to the occupants and found no breaches of legislation.”

A spokesperson for the royal explained that the travel was essential as it was for Phillips’s company, XL Medical, which provides rapid COVID-19 testing. They added, “We do not comment on details or circumstances of Mr. Phillips’s accommodation when traveling on business.”

The woman he was visiting was said to be an ex classmate and friend of Phillips’s sister, Zara Tindall.
Phillips and his wife Autumn announced their separation in February 2020. A family friend told Vanity Fair the split was, “something of a conscious uncoupling.”

Indeed, despite the split the pair were reportedly living together at Gatcombe Park this year in a bid to be good co-parents to their two school-aged daughters, Savannah and Isla.
