The meeting is her second this week after a string of cancellations due to health. She has now recovered from Covid and before that undisclosed ailments kept her sidelined. Last week she met with Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau.

Her Majesty looked resplendent in a bright blue and purple patterned dress and she shook hands with the new ambassador who wore a smart yellow-green jacket over a black dress.
Before her in person meeting the queen talked virtually to Enkhsukh Battumur, “who was presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Mongolia to the Court of St. James’s,” according to the Daily Mail. Next, “Ganchimeg Purevdorj was received and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Tajikistan to the Court of St. James’s.”
Royal Family News – The Queen Is Celebrating Her Platinum Jubilee This Year
The Queen cancelled her attendance at the annual celebration of the Commonwealth on Monday and her son and heir, Prince Charles, represented her in Westminster Abbey. She did deliver a message however, one in which she said, “it had made her happy, during her Platinum Jubilee year, to reaffirm the pledge she made in 1947 as a 21-year-old to devote her life in service.”
Around 1,500 guests gathered for the celebration to recognize Britain and its territories. The queen is the head of state of 15 Commonwealth nations including Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Incredibly, the 15 nations account for a quarter of the world’s population.
Royal Family News – Queen Elizabeth Has Mobility Issues
A source told the outlet of her mobility issues, “I don’t think anyone really expected her to attend under the circumstances. She has to take things steady. She will be disappointed but it is a sensible precaution.”
Another source added, “People forget that the Queen is almost 96. She hasn’t hidden the fact that she is now using a walking stick. Mobility is an issue.”
