British royal family news reveals that the public presence of Prince Andrew, Duke Of York at royal events is not sitting well with some royal watchers who thought he was effectively off the royal calendar.

The disgraced Duke of York stepped down from public life as his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal hit the headlines. He tried to rectify his reputation with a calamitous interview after which his endorsements dried up.

Some royal commentators have noted his public presence with senior royals and are calling out the monarchy.

Prince Andrew is, “still in the inner circle of the Royal Family, according to comments made recently. On the Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie voiced their disagreement with this.

Bowie told listeners, “I just feel like everything about this case is such a low. It’s shocking to me that he’s still in the inner circle of the Royal Family. More information is going to come out eventually.”

Epstein is the dead convicted pedophile whose alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell sits in prison while awaiting trial scheduled to take place in July 2021.

US authorities, including the FBI, have claimed to have tried to contact Andrew for information about the case but claim he is not responding. To this Prince Andrew claims that he is willing to help, “any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations if required.”

Perhaps he thinks the FBI is not legit?

Royal Family News – Why is Prince Andrew Wanted for Questioning?

Andrew’s lawyers claim they twice contacted the US Department of Justice but received no response. Nonetheless, the authorities continue to ask for his cooperation.

In 2019 Andrew backed out of public life and royal duties for the, “foreseeable future.”

In a statement he said, “It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organisations and charities that I am proud to support.

“Therefore, I have asked Her Majesty if I may step back from public duties for the foreseeable future, and she has given her permission.”

While it seems as if Andrew has not been given official duties to perform, his presence with other royals in public is raising eyebrows.
