Royal Family News: Sarah Ferguson Admits She “Destroyed Herself”

British royal family news reveals that Sarah Ferguson has a new book to promote and she’s been making the rounds giving out quotes as colorful as her famous luscious red locks, with nothing seemingly off limits.
On Friday she had something to say about the late Princess Diana and chimed in on failed princess Meghan Markle.

Sarah Ferguson Is Doing PR These Days

Known as Fergie, the Duchess of York was once married to Prince Andrew the man at the center of an ongoing scandal over his ties to dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. They divorced in 1996 but still live together.

She talked about new fiction book titled Her Heart for a Compass: A Novel. It is about a “rebel” royal with the setting the late 1800s. On Friday she spoke out about royal life on Good Morning America and said, “I wish Harry and Meghan so much happiness. I know Diana would be so proud of her sons and their wives.”

She added that she and Diana had it “tough” with the British press when both were younger and prominent members of the royal family.

Fergie Is An Accomplished Author

Despite her rep as a royal rebel herself back in the day, Fergie says that she is now, “finding her voice.”
Of her heyday she said, “It was an extraordinary thing to realize we were selling papers rather than it being real. In the days of Diana and I, it was tough. You don’t really have an opinion.”

Fergie was asked how she manages to navigate scandal in her life for instance her ex-husband’s friendship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. According to one alleged victim, she had sex in London with Andrew after they were introduced by Epstein, and while she was a minor.

Prince Andrew has denied the claims and Fergie responded, “Well, for anybody watching, apologize profusely to yourself, to others.” Huh?

Fergie Wants You To Apologize To Yourself

She explained, “I have destroyed myself many times but the most important thing is to get up and get going.” O.K.

News is that Fergie is in talks to turn her book into a Bridgerton-style period drama series. A source told Variety this week, that her people are talks with a streaming service, “and will be approaching others once a 360-degree treatment of the book is finalized. These will include Amazon and Netflix.”
