Royal Family News: Sarah Ferguson Gives Harry Competition In The Royal Book Wars

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry has some royal competition in the interview department. He has been on a tear doing PR for his new memoir Spare and in recent days he has talked to ITV, CBS, Good Morning America and People magazine. But now Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York is on her own publicity blitz.

Today the former wife of disgraced Prince Andrew gave a behind-the-scenes look into her Retro Radio interview recording.

On Instagram, she praised Abaházi Csaba for being a great host and thanked the radio team for welcoming her to the studio. Apparently the interview appears to promote Sarah’s latest novel ‘A Most Intriguing Lady’, which is due for a spring debut.

One photo shows the flame haired mother-of-two signing one of her books on the studio recording desk.

Another photo shows cheerful Sarah talking with the show’s host Abaházi, who is directly across from her. She captioned the post: “We had such good fun in the studio recording for Retro Radio! Don’t mind me while I reminisce. Thank you for having me Retro Radio and thank you, Abaházi Csaba, for being such a great host!”

Her fans were enthusiastic about the post with one person writing, “Anytime you fancy being on my show I’d be delighted to have your company,” and another noting, “Delightful Duchess,” while one commented, “Well done Duchess.”

Sarah’s interview comes one the heels of Prince Harry’s torrid PR blitz for his juicy memoir which includes plenty of familial accusations and a ton too much information about his private anatomy.

In an interview with Anderson Cooper he claimed he never intended to hurt his family and during an ABC interview he claims that the late Queen Elizabeth, “knew how hard it was,” being such a pampered, privileged party boy. In an interview with People magazine the hothead boasted about killing 25 Taliban citizens during the war in Afghanistan.

In contrast a much more polite Sarah paid tribute to her former MIL Her Majesty in a New Year’s poem: “As the primroses appear on the banks of Windsor so clear, new beginnings, new paths, new rainbows to see, you are tucked in our hearts even though apart – so welcome 2023 knowing you are free. Happy New Year.”
