Royal Family News: Sarah Ferguson Was In Nashville For Lisa Marie Presley’s Funeral

British Royal Family News says that regardless of what you may think of her or what the press has said about her in the past, there’s no denying that Sarah Ferguson is that friend that you can count on during good times or bad.

The Duchess of York was spotted at the Nashville airport as she was on her way to Lisa Marie Presley’s funeral as she was preparing to say good-bye to her friend one last time. Here’s what you need to know.

Sarah suggested that Lisa Marie died of a broken heart as she simply couldn’t take the grief any more of losing her son Benjamin to suicide back in 2020. She told Page Six in a new interview that she hopes Lisa Marie’s family, and her daughters especially, will be well looked over now.

She said, “I think we need to make sure Finley, Riley and Harper are fully supported going forward. She was so proud of them, so proud. She used to write to me saying, ‘Yeah, I’m really gushing at how wonderful my children are right now. Also, we’ve got to look after Priscilla now, don’t we?”

Earlier in the month, Sarah shared a throwback photo of her and Lisa Marie soon after her death was announced. She wrote, “I say hello to you everyday and I love you my sissy and I will continue to say hello to you everyday. You were my sissy, an amazing mother to Ben, Riley, Harper and Finley and a superbly loving daughter to Priscilla. You have been my devoted friend for many years and I am here for your family to support and love them.”

Lisa Marie Preseley – Rushed To The Hospital Before Her Death

According to reports, Lisa Marie had been rushed to a hospital only a few hours before she was pronounced dead. “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” the family said in a statement. “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Lisa’s mother Priscilla Presley also released a statement about her daughter’s death to People magazine. She wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.”

Lisa Marie had looked a little unstable only a few days before her death at the 2023 Golden Globes. During one interview, she had the grab the arm of Jerry Schilling, Elvis Presley’s longtime friend, while she was speaking to Billy Bush. A lot of people also noticed that she looked quite frail.
