Royal Family News: Save the Date For “Keeping Up With The Markles” December 8 Netflix Drop

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not above doing a reality show after their defection from the monarchy that Meghan allegedly thought, “needed her more than she needed it.” Things have worked out so well for the Markles that their Netflix, “documentary,” what others are calling a “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” style reality drops next week.

Royal Family News – Markle Documentary Coming December 8

The whole shebang has been controversial from the start, beginning with the coy couple intimating that they would never stoop so low as to do a reality show. And yet if in 2022 the definition of reality is still the same as always—not fiction—than that is exactly what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are doing for Netflix.

After Queen Elizabeth’s death on September 8, the pair were, “were reported to have tried to push it back to 2023 despite the streaming giant paying them a rumoured $100million (£88million) for the fly-on-the-wall series.”

Then there are the reports that the couple was difficult to work with, which brings to mind the Buckingham Palace bullying investigation that had to be launched against Meghan. According to sources, the royal runaways were, “reportedly ‘at odds’ with the production staff on their Netflix docuseries because the ‘panicked’ couple want to make ‘such extensive edits’ that the team believe the project could be ‘shelved indefinitely.’” Here’s the deal Markles: if you talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk. Otherwise known as put your big girl and boy pants on.

Page Six has spilled that the “documentary” which may be or maybe not called ‘Chapters’ will air next Thursday.

Royal Family News – Meghan and Harry’s Netflix Reality Show

This reality show is a far cry from the entitled blabber they spewed in 2020, full of chuffed up pride at having shown the royals who was boss. At that time Harry and Meghan, “announced a shiny new deal with Netflix, saying they wanted to provide ‘hope and inspiration’ by teaming up with the streaming goliath.” But apparently they, too, have learned that sleaze and titillation are what sells. Maybe Meghan will trot out in her barely there Deal or No Deal game show dress for old times sake, and then punch the show in the mouth just like she did on her podcast Archetypes?

To give you an idea of how far the Duke and Duchess of Excess have fallen, they bragged that, “their company, unnamed at the time but now known as Archewell Productions, would make documentaries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming.” Two years on the screen is empty.

Let’s all wait to rush to judgment until December 8 when we will collectively find out if the thirsty pair have fulfilled their mission to use Netflix’s, “unprecedented reach … (to) help us share impactful content that unlocks action.” Again, popcorn or emergency bag, your choice.
