British Royal News suggests that Meghan Markle had expressed some gentle concerns when her husband Prince Harry said that he wanted to write a tell-all book about the royal family. Apparently, she didn’t think it was a good idea but went ahead and supported him after the Duke of Sussex made it clear that he wanted to write the book. Here’s what you need to know.

Sources say that Meghan didn’t think it would be a good idea for Harry to throw his family under the bus in his memoir, but he did it anyway. This, despite the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did their own tell-all interview with Oprah in which they revealed some nasty things about the royal family to the world, too.

One source close to the situation said, “Is this the way she would have approached things? Possibly not. But she will always back him and would never have got involved in promoting such a personal project. This was about his own life, his journey and his own perspective.”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both royal fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter. Many of them commented with, “Omg! She’s such a relentlessly dishonest person! She’s clearly written a lot of the content! And now she has the cheek to portray herself as someone capable of gentle concerns. Give me a break,” along with, “So the book didn’t get the positive reaction they were hoping for so her next stunt is to throw her own Husband under the bus!!! SHOCKER!!!!”
