Royal Family News: Should Monarchy Apologize To Prince Harry And Meghan?

British royal family news shows that Harry and Meghan think they need an apology after Prince William’s godmother, Lady Susan Hussey, apologized after being accused of racist comments. Hussey, one of the late Queen Elizabeth’s ladies-in-waiting, “met with black charity boss Ngozi Fulani for ‘reconciliation’ talks at Buckingham Palace this week.”

According to the Daily Mail, sources now report that Harry and Meghan want the same treatment. Let’s unpack what this is all about.

Royal Family News – Harry and Meghan Are Unreasonable?

At a royal reception last month, the 83-year-old Hussey asked a guest where she hails from. But Fulani later went on social media to say that she felt racially profiled by that question. After the public complaint, Hussey “stepped down” from her honorary role.

It was called a scandal all the way around and led to future monarch Prince William saying his godmother’s comments were unacceptable and that, “racism has no place in our society.”

On Thursday the two women met up for a second time, apparently in much more cordial circumstances. It’s been reported that Lady Hussey apologized to Fulani, who accepted the mea culpa. Next, a statement was issued on behalf of both women stating that they wanted to, “rebuild their lives in peace,” following the ordeal.

Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan And Their Four Faces

Leave it to Harry and Meghan to take a positive and turn it into a negative. After this scene aired, the Sussexes were said to be irritated that no one apologized to THEM. Sources allegedly told the Sunday Times that the couple are demanding a meeting with the royal family to receive a proper apology all their own. Ironically, just last week their trashy reality show dropped, and in it they did nothing but bad mouth the monarchy.

The six-part Netflix documentary was panned by critics and roasted by social media. One source told the outlet, “Nothing like that was ever done when Harry and Meghan raised various concerns — no meeting, formal apology or taking responsibility or accountability. That is hard to swallow — 100 per cent yes they’d like to have a meeting.”

By the way, next month there is fresh ish to drop, Harry’s memoir entitled Spare. If they plan on apologizing, maybe the royals ought to hold their tongues until they read what Harry has to say next about them?
