British Royal Family News suggests that there are a lot of people out there that certainly want to hear more about the story. That’s because Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, has managed to sell more than 1.43 million copies during its first day of sales alone. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the book’s publisher, Penguin Random, Spare sold more than 1.43 million copies in all formats in the United States, Canada, and Britain. The book also became the fastest non-fiction selling book in history, to say the least. In comparison, Barack Obama’s book, A Promise Land, only sold 887,000 books in its first day.
“We sold books in every location — and we sold a lot of them,” said Shannon DeVito, the director of books at Barnes & Noble. “Some people came in right before work, some people came in on their lunch break, some people came in after,” she continued. “But the velocity of sales throughout the day was gigantic.”
Meanwhile, there are some members of the royal family who believe that Harry has been kidnapped by “psychotherapists.” According to The Independent, a reconciliation with the royal family is nearly impossible now that Harry has dragged every member of his fam, including Prince William, Kate Middleton, and even his stepmother Camilla Parker Bowles. And the royals know that they can’t retaliate because everything they will say will end up in the papers.

“They are trapped,” says one source close to the situation. “They really can’t engage because everything they say will be shared with the media. It is impossible to have a conversation or write a letter because of the risk that anything they say being put in the public domain by Harry, potentially for commercial benefit. There has been a complete breakdown of trust.”
The royal source said: “They aren’t going to apologize because they don’t recognise Harry’s version of events. He has been kidnapped by a cult of psychotherapy and Meghan. It is impossible for him to return in these circumstances.”
