Suits ran on the USA Network before going dark in 2019. Bunches of new fans are discovering the series after its introduction to several streaming services.

The numbers are impressive according to Cosmopolitan. On June 17 the first eight seasons of Suits dropped on Netflix and all nine seasons are available on Peacock.

Suits has been in Netflix’s “Top 10 TV Shows in the United States. Plus, for the week of June 29, it amassed 3.1 billion (!) minutes viewed on both streamers combined.”

The truth is that this achievement broke the Nielson streaming record for acquired programming. All of this means that a re-boot of Suits might be a lucrative proposition.

Klein told the outlet that he’s talking to the show’s creator, Aaron Korsh. Apparently they’ve discussed “the potential for another installment and talked about what getting certain cast-members on board could look like.”

He put a Debby Downer tone on the possibility of reuniting the cast noting “it was a complicated dance keeping everybody involved, getting all the actors deals done and keeping them involved through the end of the show.”

Back in the day the Suits cast included Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, Amanda Schull, Dulee Hill, Katherine Heigl, and Meghan Markle.

So, what are the chances of Meghan returning to her starring vehicle IF the show reboots?

When the subject of getting Meghan Markle back to the show was brought up, Klein didn’t mince words: “I would assume that’s just not possible.”

But why? Because the show doesn’t want to bring back a scandal prone diva, or because he assumes Meghan is too big for the little cable show? In reality it would be a perfect fit given how things have turned out for her—stranger things have happened!

The other issue is a little tiny thing that Meghan’s character was written out of the show. No nothing to do with the fact she was moving. She was not nice to work with. Why she was a diva long before Hawry. I’m sure the cast don’t want to work with her after getting the boot at the wedding for not being invited to the evening reception. For the likes of the Clooneys and Oprah who had never met the couple. The cast had kept the couples secret for a while that they were even dating. This is coming from no other than Meghan herself.
