British royal family news reports that Taylor Swift allegedly chose never, ever to be on Meghan Markle’s Spotify podcast, despite MM sending a HANDWRITTEN request.

Why would Taylor prefer to snub MM over associating with her? Surprisingly, the reason may have nothing at all to do with Meghan herself. Let’s examine the evidence that suggests the reasons why Taylor may have said no to Meghan.
Royal Family News: Taylor Swift Rejected Meghan
The Wall Street Journal reported that Meghan put pen to paper and had it sent to Taylor, asking her to appear on her now cancelled podcast Archetypes. Taylor is said to have not responded back, instead letting her representative do so.
The Daily Mail notes that Taylor has a “historic reluctance to engage in active political statements.” Meghan is ultra political, to the point that American politicians accused her of interfering in the last presidential election, so maybe she wanted to avoid conflict?

The outlet notes that Taylor has had beef with streaming platforms in the past, which could explain her reluctance to appear on Spotify, even as a guest. In fact, in 2014 she removed her music catalog from Spotify.
Additionally Taylor has a number of her own royal connections and is friends with Katy Perry (who headlined King Charles’ Coronation concert), Cara Delevingne, and Karlie Kloss who also mingle with the monarchy.
The outlet goes on to note that Taylor “has not only made her mark in the music industry, but in Hollywood’s extended social circle in the UK – which has left her webbed in a number of royal connections” including Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. So could it be that Taylor did not want to associate with a person who has made it a hobby to trash The Firm as well as her husband’s family? n other words, maybe Tay is just pulling a Switzerland.

After all, she met King Charles at an event in Mumbai in 2019 and later it was revealed he broke one of the royal tenets for her by asking for a selfie!
