This year alone she lost her husband Prince Philip and one of her longest serving ladies in waiting. But she has at least one ally who could be about to serve up some lessons in loyalty to one of the queen’s fiercest critics. Ironically that critic is one of her closest relatives. Harry, looking at you unfortunately.

Apparently the duke is writing his memoir, as is Harry. According to the Daily Mail, “he will be telling the inside story ‘behind the scenes of the world’s most celebrated family.’”

It is scheduled to drop in May of next year the same year as Harry’s bombshell bio and around the same time as the Queen’s platinum jubilee.

Although the books will drop in 2022 and address royal life, you can bet they will be like night and day versions of events. Hollywood Harry’s tome is expected to continue the drama train he’s ridden since dumping the monarchy for “financial freedom.” Since then he and wife Meghan have conducted themselves with anger and ungrace, trashing the family at every turn. Apparently the grass is not greener over the fence?

In contrast Edward’s bio is said to be full of, “recollections and never-before-seen pictures — he is a skilled amateur photographer — of a lifetime working for the Queen without fanfare to support her public role.”

An insider said, “Edward’s book will aim to show that the most successful members of the Royal Family are those who support the Queen and don’t compete with her.”

Royal Family News – Steady Eddie Supports the Queen

In the publishers’ press release he is referred to as, ‘Steady Eddie’ his family nickname. He is the grandson of George V and Queen Mary, and served 21 years in the Army as an officer in the Royal Scots Greys. After he left the military he spent 45 years carrying out royal engagements.

He was at the Queen’s coronation in 1953, and said to be a trusted confidante as the queen went on to encounter domestic turbulence, including her son Andrew’s current civil case alleging he committed sexual abuse of a minor.
