Royal Family News – Kate And William Are Low Key
The reason that Kate and William have been away from the spotlight is not alarming, in fact it is a tradition parents around the world are used to—their children are having a half-term.
Princess Kate’s last official royal duty was on October 15 when she sent an encouraging letter to the England Rugby League. As its patron, she said, “To the England Rugby League teams, I wanted to wish you the very best of luck with your respective World Cup tournaments.”
She went on to say, “I was so honored to become Patron of the RFL earlier this year, not least because I know what an important moment this is for Rugby League. The ability to take part in any World Cup tournament is incredible, but to be able to do so on your home turf, hosting teams from around the world and showcasing everything that this fantastic sport has to offer is truly special.”

Kate also sure to mention that this year the Rugby League World Cup will be the “most inclusive” to in conclusion she said, “Good luck! I know you will do us all very proud and I can’t wait to see you all in action.”
William has been enjoying a well-deserved break as well, but Hello! notes that, “he is already planning his return to work.”
Royal Family News – Prince William Is A Hard Worker
William is set to get back to work on November 1 in order to attend the 10th annual Tusk Conservation Awards in London. The news was announced by Kensington Palace: “The Prince of Wales will celebrate the work of leading Africa-based conservationists at the annual Tusk Conservation Awards to be held next month at Hampton Court Palace.”
Life in the royal spotlight has become much busier for the parents of three since the death of Queen Elizabeth on September 8. At that time William’s father Charles became King, a role William will one day fulfill.
