Princess Mako is not the only woman from her country to give it all up for greener pastures. Princess Nori lost her title and left the imperial family when she married non-royal Yoshiki Kuroda in 2005.

These days she goes by the name Sayako Kuroda, and works as a supreme priestess. Her day gig is at the Ise Grand Shrine, considered to be the most significant Shinto sanctuary in Japan. The one time ornithologist is the youngest child of Emperor Emeritus Akihito and Empress Emerita Michiko.

Royal Family News – Princess Märtha Louise

Princess Märtha Louise forfeited the title “her royal highness” when she married the late commoner Ari Behn in 2002. She is described as a clairvoyant.

She is the firstborn child and only daughter of Norway’s King Harald V and Queen Sonja. What is she doing to earn a buck these days? Märtha Louise founded a school that reportedly teaches students how to communicate with “angels.”

Sadly Märtha has been accused of exploiting her title for her tour, “The Princess and the Shaman” undertaken with boyfriend/spiritual adviser Shaman Durek.

Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Lives In California

When the subject of exploiting one’s title comes up its time to talk about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. These two are the most famous royal runaways by far. In 2020 they ditched the monarchy for a chance to make more money than they can count, in a brazen move called Megxit.

Now they live in the US and amuse the masses with their self-proclaimed expertise in everything. They have started something called Archewell Inc. and it’s murky as to what they actually do with it, if anything. To be fair they also signed deals with Netflix and Spotify and so far have been successful in skipping out on actually doing anything to earn their keep. Nice non-work if you can get it.
