Thomas Markle Is Eager To Have His Day In Court To Defend Himself Against His Daughter Meghan Markle
The London court date he refers to is coming up in Meghan Markle Thee Duchess of Sussex’s lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Mail on Sunday. The whole thing hinges on her complaint that they published pieces of a letter the angry daughter wrote to her dad apparently before she stopped speaking to him.
Some legal experts think she would be better off calling it a day since she has already lost two battles in court related to the suit and just asked for and won a delay with the January trial being pushed back to fall 2021 next year.
Some are now saying that her hasty move smells like a litigant who isn’t very confident in her claim.
Meghan Markle’s Dad Fears He Could Die Before He Has A Chance To Defend Himself Against His Daughter Meghan Markle
Prince Harry once claimed, “What Meghan wants Meghan gets!” and this appears to be the case in her prickly lawsuit. Would she really do this to her own father, prevent him from his day in court to defend himself against her? We all know the answer to that.
Thomas Markle is 76-years old and said in a statement that he wants to testify on his own behalf, “as quickly as possible,” due to his ailing health.
The poor man said that none of his male relatives have made it to 80 years of age: “I am a realist and I could die tomorrow. The sooner this case takes place the better.”
Thomas Markle Lives In Mexico And Is Concerned He Won’t Make It To His Scheduled Court Date
Thomas has agreed to testify for the newspaper vowing, “everything will come out.” Which could be the reason behind Meghan’s push to delay the trial? Some might say that with a family like this, who needs enemies?
The newspaper’s lawyer Elizabeth Hartley is adamant, “He continues to feel that he has been misrepresented and that the Claimant (Meghan) should not be pursuing this claim. He is anxious to have his day in court so that he can tell the truth in public.”

Shameful how she treats her dad.
He’s worrying about his bad heart ? But, not traveling and quarantine across the other side of the world?
Life is too short. Ok if a child, parent, family members has done or said things you don't like or agree with distance yourself from their influence. However to cut them off entirely is something which should be deeply considered. A phone call or letter to keep in touch might be something you would be glad to have done when they are gone. If the relative is someone you don't trust just be careful of what you say or put in writing. A person can only trust/control their own response to a situation. No one should rely on the other person in such a situation. Megan would have feared far better to have taken a cordial but distant approach in this relationship and most definitely in her situation not put anything personal in writing. In my opinion sending a letter to someone is a gift, so once it's in their hands it's their property. So therefore to put something in that envelope she did not want to give away is entirely her fault. Hopefully Megan has learnt by this mistake but it might be messy. I would hope her and her father could make some amends and stop this legal situation, the only ones really going to win out of this are lawyers.
