Royal Family News: Thomas Markle Swears On GMB, Says Meghan Markle’s “Racist” Claims Are “Bulls***”

British royal family news reveals that Thomas Markle went on Good Morning Britain this morning to refute his daughter Meghan Markle’s claims against him and the royal family. He was understandably upset at what has become the focus of most media for the past 48 hours and let slip a little cuss word the censors weren’t fast enough for.

This led host Susanna Reid to apologize for his use of the word “bulls***” in reference to what he thought of his daughter implying the Royal Family is “racist.”

Royal Family News – Thomas Markle Is Steamed

Thomas appeared from his home in Rosarito, Mexico the morning after his daughter Meghan and her husband Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey aired in the UK. Prior to his appearance with Susanna her GMB co-host Piers Morgan had stormed off the set after getting into a war of words over the topic of Meghan Thee Duchess.

Meghan claimed during the Oprah interview that an unnamed member of the Royal Family had concerns and conversations about her son baby Archie on, “how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

Thomas set the record straight by saying that he no longer speaks to the couple because of their decision: “a decision those guys made.”

Thomas told her, “I feel like she let me down. I was in a hospital bed the last time we talked. She didn’t care if I died. I had a procedure where a stent was put in here and here (gesturing to his chest) and they haven’t spoken to me since.

“When my father was in hospital me and my three brothers showed up the next day. That’s what families do.”

Susanna was careful to set the foundation for why she felt the couple had aired their dirty laundry on a nationally televised show by saying, “It is how they feel they have been treated, what’s been said about them, what people around them have done. How they feel they’ve been let down and unsupported.”

“Stories that people have told the press which they feel are untrue.”

She continued: “This is your daughter and her husband. She made a series of allegations that must be taken extremely seriously and also the fact that she feels you let her down as well.”

Royal Family News – What Did Thomas Markle Have To Say?

What did he think about Meghan bringing up the race card? “The whole thing about the color and how dark the baby is is bulls***.”

Thomas said he didn’t believe the Royal Family were racist, adding, “I married a black woman and had a beautiful child.”

“If she had turned out dark it wouldn’t have been a problem. If she turned out anything in between, it wouldn’t have been a problem. It’s a beautiful baby.”

Susanna then told Thomas, “One of the things that has been expressed over and over on this program and more broadly is that when someone feels they have heard a racist comment, that has to be taken seriously.”

“It’s not what you described it as; it’s something that needs to be heard, understood and perhaps investigated.”
