Royal Family News: Two Glamorous Duchesses Hold Court At Extraordinary Royal Events

British royal family news reveals that Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, paid a special visit to a London hospice Wednesday evening.

Camilla was on official royal duty and it was she who had the privilege of switching on the Christmas lights at the Royal Trinity Hospice in Clapham. The venerable hospice celebrated its 130th anniversary this year.

Camilla was resplendent in a cream colored coat with a gray polka dot dress underneath.

Her glam and polished look was topped off with a handsome crocodile skin purse, tall suede boots and a patterned face mask. Camilla’s appearance came while the rest of the royal family made a VIP appearance of their own. On Wednesday night the family came together at Westminster Abbey for Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge’s carol service.

Kate was also a fashion sweepstakes winner. She wore a brand new ruby red dress to the event. The pretty coat featured a large bow on the front. She was accompanied by her husband and heir to the throne, Prince William. Kate’s accessories included glamourous sapphire and diamond fringe earrings which once belonged to the Queen Mother and a red suede purse by Miu Miu.

The concert titled Together At Christmas has held in London. Prior to the concert Buckingham Palace announced that the event was being held in honor of the dedicated service shown by charity workers, teachers and volunteers during the pandemic.

At the concert Kate also enjoyed the company of her immediate family. Her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, and her siblings James and Pippa, were all in attendance at the carol service.

Additionally, Sophie the Countess of Wessex was on hand for concert. Like the other royal women, she also looked dashing and elegant. Sophie paired a pair of winter white pants with a pretty green blouse and maroon coat.

The service included musical performances from Leona Lewis and Ellie Goulding. The entire event will be broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve in a program titled called Royal Carols: Together At Christmas.

Prior to the event the concert engendered a bit of controversy when the family decided not to air the broadcast on BBC, which had a hand in its development. Instead it they chose ITV, following the family’s stated displeasure with a recent BBC feature on the royal family.
