News about the British Royal Family comes in thick and fast, especially with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the latest Epstein File drop. But, he’s not the only one making the headlines. Read on for a roundup of recent 2026 news about the monarchy.
Charles, The Nigerians & Andrew
According to the BBC, soon, King Charles will host Bola Tinubu, the president of Nigeria, alongside his First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu. For the people of Nigeria, it’s big news because the groundbreaking aspect of the meetup is that it’s the first time since 1989.

As for the former royal family Prince Andrew, well, he finally moved out of the Royal Lodge, despite folks fearing that the King was getting soft on that. Recently, the media revealed that he ended up at an old farm in the Sandringham area in Norfolk.
Princess Eugenie, Beatrice & Camila
Princess Eugenie and her sister, Beatrice, who reportedly cut off their dad, got back into the public eye recently. Beatrice didn’t really ever leave it. But, Eugenie did travel across to Doha in Qatar. There she attended the Art Basel 2026 event. Apparently, they both try and work hard as they need to improve the bad PR fallout from Sarah Ferguson and Andrew.
Meanwhile, Charles and his wife, Camila Parker-Bowles went on with their round of royal duties despite a lot of pressure to say something about the Epstein files. Recently, the King and Queen, at the Palace of St. James, hosted a bunch of government employees, proving they stay in touch with those less fortunate than themselves.
Harry, Meghan & Catherine
Of course, Princess Catherine is often hailed for her good works and pleasant ways. Recently, she went off to a denim factory and ran up a pair of jeans for Prince William. Then, she also turned up at Lambeth Palace sporting expensive jewellery that symbolizesd her three adorable kids.

Naturally, the less popular figures of Montecito-based Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle made the news. Harry had a turbulent time with his lawsuit against the Daily Mail. However, he and his wife apparently plan on a return trip to the UK later this year.
Apparently, they both plan to attend the 2027 Birmingham Invictus Games. Rumors have it that he even extended an invite to his dad to open the games. However, that seems to be a lot of speculation.
Meanwhile, reports arrive that Meghan and Queen Camila don’t really enjoy each other’s company. No doubt some news about that comes down the line later in 2026. And in their news, of course, the duo recently attended the premiere of their documentary titled Cookie Queens. Conflicting reports arrive on how well it all went down for them.
