British Royal News suggests that there’s an unfounded claim that has many people believing that Meghan Markle might have been secretly in love with Prince William and not Prince Harry. At least that’s what some people on Twitter believe. Here’s what you need to know.

One Twitter user with the handle @BillyDouglass7 suggested that the Duchess of Sussex might have had her eye on the ultimate prize with the Prince of Wales.
He wrote, “If there was ever a photo that speaks volumes, it’s this one. I believe old Meg’s came on to Prince William early on and he rejected her. And she’s been holding a grudge against him ever since. Prince William knew she was trouble right from the beginning.”
Interestingly enough, many people seem to believe that theory because other comments included, “She thought she could come in, make up rumors to split them up.
Then make a move. when that failed, she turned Harry against the whole of his family. Trying to bring down the monarchy! But failed again , because she couldn’t have him. Sad really,” along with, “I don’t know if she seriously wanted William, at least not after the push of heartthrob William in the early 2000s. I definitely think William saw thru her from the moment she was introduced. It’s not hard to see she was fame hungry.”
