Believe it or not, Queen Elizabeth has never had an academic exam—it’s good to be queen! She first had home schooling then received private lessons from the vice provost of Eton, Henry Marten. Nonetheless, we are certain that she had the best education that her parents could obtain, and was schooled remarkably well.
Royal Family News – What Were Prince William And Prince Harry’s Grades?
How did the Queen’s grandsons, Prince William and Prince Harry fare? They both attended Eton school in Windsor where William the Duke of Cambridge earned 12 GCSEs and three A-Levels in Geography (A), History of Art (A) and Biology (C).
For his part Harry earned 11 GCSEs and two A-Levels, a B in Art and a D in Geography. Following his graduation in 2003, Harry took a gap year then joined the military. After graduation William earned a 2:1 degree in Geography from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Proud papa Prince Charles told The Guardian, “I know how hard William worked to achieve these excellent results and I am very proud that he has done so well.”

Prince Charles was a pupil at Gordonstoun where he earned five GCSEs, and two A-Levels in history (B) and French (C). Later he earned a 2:2 degree in history from Cambridge University.

Kate the Duchess of Cambridge achieved 11 GCSEs at St. Andrew’s School in Pangbourne before earning excellent grades at Marlborough College in Wiltshire: two As in Maths and Art, and a B in English. After taking a gap year Kate went to the University of St. Andrews in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a 2:1 in History of Art.
Kate met William at St. Andrews where they dated before becoming engaged years later. Today they have three beautiful children together and are in line to be King and Queen Consort.
