Who is Prince Andrew?

Prince Andrew has denied the charges Virginia Giuffre brought against him in a NYC courtroom, that he sexually assaulted her when she was a minor and a sex trafficking victim of his convict friends Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.

This week a federal judge ruled that the civil case will be heard in fall, and hours later the palace dropped a bombshell, telling the world that Andrew is no longer allowed to use his titles nor call himself His Royal Highness. He lost his patronages and while still a member of his family, he is definitely not a member of the monarchy.

Is There A Settlement on the Table?

According to the New York Times, “If both sides agree to a settlement, which would bring the civil lawsuit to an end, Prince Andrew would likely not have to admit any liability or wrongdoing, but he could face sizable financial costs.”

“If the case goes to trial before a jury, it could lead to the public airing of tawdry and damaging details about the prince that could further undermine the monarchy.”
