Royal Family News: Being A Royal is Tough Enough

Royal Family news reveals that though the Cambridges are known for running a tight ship, there is at least one behavior that is considered entirely “off limits.” Along with the already strict rules of conduct that all royals must adhere to, the Duchess of Cambridge has her own set that she uses to govern her household, per Good to Know.

And, while they are not nearly as strict as the rules imposed on the Royal Family, there is nevertheless a set of rules Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis must follow. There is one rule that is paramount over all others.

A Quiet Place

To keep the Cambridge family home life peaceful, there is one rule they impose on their little ones that takes precedence over all others – use your inside voice. If anyone spends any time within the walls of the Cambridge household, they will likely notice – there will be “no shouting.”

That’s because the one rule that is never to be broken is a “no shouting” rule. A source told The Sun that the Cambridge youngsters are prohibited from shouting. However, the penalty for violating said rule is not what we would expect.

Shouting Gets The Chat Sofa

According to the source, “shouting is absolutely ‘off limits’ for the children and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal.” The source went on to describe the Cambridge household is one where peace and tranquility reign supreme with William and Kate handling their young ones in a calm and gentle way. The royal couple reportedly avoids raising their voices at their children or sending them to their rooms for doing the same.

Instead, the Cambridge children go to the “chat sofa” when they violate the no-yell rule. The source explained, “The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William. Things are explained and consequences outlined and they never shout at them.”

Hard Life Of A Young Royal

The source described the rigorous, high-pressure lifestyle of a young royal, saying, “Not only is there the practical side of what they have participated [in], such as standing on the balcony and waving from the carriage, but there is also the emotional side of the whole event.

“They are, after all, just little children and on Monday they were back in school having had the most amazing experience, but definitely shattered.” This is apparently why the Cambridges work so hard to keep a quiet peaceful home for their children. I think it’s time to move on from Meghan Markle hating. It’s ridiculous at this point. It’s old news, mostly made up anyway and repeated over and over again. Boring!!
