Last year they made headlines for hiring a personal photographer to take picture s of them stomping around Los Angeles Veteran’s Cemetery looking peeved and mad because the queen didn’t lay a wreath for them at a military event back in the UK.
Royal Family News – Was Meghan Dressed To Impress?
What a difference a year makes. This year they were dressed to the nines, and Meghan couldn’t stop smiling, although it may have been an unfortunate consequence of her heavy makeup.
The media was quick to note that Meghan Markle wore, “a show-stopping red gown by Carolina Herrera, featuring a deep neckline, pleated skirt and thigh-high split. She completed her glamorous ensemble with a pair of matching £696 slingback heels by Giuseppe Zanotti featuring crystal-embellished buckle detail.” In other words she dressed to impress, with a “look at me” desperation.
This time out she opted to leave the blood diamonds at home and instead wore ones that belonged to Harry’s mom. Much safer.
In a classic quid pro quo move, the dress designer posted a sketch of the red frock on Instagram. Carolina Herrera posted that the dress was, “designed as part of the Pre-Fall 2022 Collection by Creative Director Wes Gordon.” Do the Markle’s ever do anything without strings attached?
Royal Family News – Harry Was Not In Uniform
Harry could not wear his military uniform because he abandoned his family and country and as such is banned from wearing a military uniform. But he did manage to pin a few lonely looking medals to his suit jacket.
Meghan was asked what she thought of Hollywood Harry and she gushed, “I’m always proud of him.”
Is Meghan also proud that Harry chose to throw away his military titles including Captain General Royal Marines, Honorary Air Commandant, RAF Honington, and Commodore-in-Chief, Small Ships and Diving, Royal Naval Command?
He threw it all away in order to gain, “financial freedom,” and in the process lost the respect of many royal watchers.
In other news the latest installment of As Meghan Turns came yesterday when she was forced to apologize to the Court of Appeal in London, “for failing to remember she told a royal aide to brief the authors of the Finding Freedom biography.” In other words, perjury is a punishable crime and somehow her PR team finally got that through to her.
