British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle’s “Sparkle” is for all intents and purposes tarnished, and some think no amount of Tarn-X is going to bring it back. Headlines show several reasons for her steep decline in popularity. Not the least of which was dragging her accommodating in-laws to Oprah Winfrey.

Megxit is another epic failure attached to her, and so is this one little thing that she just can’t let go of. What is it that Meghan is doing that causes social media to call her a hypocrite? Let’s unpack what one royal expert sees as one of her biggest and ongoing blunders.

There were high hopes when Harry met Meghan. The public was happy that the spare found a partner, someone to be by his side while her performed the duties expected of him as a royal. He was a constant tagalong to royal events with his brother and SIL Prince William and Kate, and many thought the trio were precious. Later it emerged that Harry apparently felt like a third wheel, the first of many allegations against Harry, revealing the apparent discontent he harbored internally.

That discontent went official the palace was forced to announce: “Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.”

Meghan and Harry’s image went south and they were seen as a source of irritation to the family that cared for Harry after his mother’s tragic death. In typical snarky fashion, the bratty couple sniped back that anyone can, “live a life of service.” Which by the way is not what they are doing with their lives. Harry’s “life of service” consists of playing polo with his pals on the weekends.

YouGov polls show that Harry and Megs are at the bottom of the barrel in terms of popularity, right down there with the other disgraced royal, Andrew.

Royal expert Nile Gardiner told The Sun, “The popularity of Meghan and Harry in the US has declined significantly over the course of the year, and that will continue to decline.” Gardiner has a theory as to why people are put off by her, “even after the shock of the couple leaving the royal family and the Oprah interview has worn off.”

Royal Family News – Why Is Meghan So Disliked?

“There is no good reason she still holds a royal title,” Gardiner said referring to her incessant demand that people refer to her as Duchess of Sussex, a title she gained just by marrying Harry.

Furthermore, Express notes that she highhandedly makes people refer to her as royalty, giving the example of her saying to a bunch of kids, “I am Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and today I am going to read you my book called ‘The Bench.'”
