Royal Family News: Why Does Melissa McCarthy Love Meghan Markle And Prince Harry So Much?

British royal family news reveals that Melissa McCarthy is trying to explain her involvement in Meghan Markle’s cringe 40th birthday video. The indulgent vanity project was panned by critics who called it a PR stunt and yet McCarthy justified it by saying, “She’s doing such an amazing thing to celebrate her 40th.” She told Access Hollywood of the trash talking ex royals Harry and Meghan, “They were so sweet and funny. I just find them very inspiring. They’re carving out their own lives. They’re carving out their lives for their kids.”

Meghan’s 40th birthday was celebrated on Wednesday, August 4, with the Duchess of Sussex and McCarthy appearing in a video that many thought mocked the royal family. Both were seen sipping tea with the latter made up in a fascinator and gloves, snarking that Meghan would like her better that way.

Harry told Oprah Winfrey in March, he wasn’t allowed inside the house for Meghan’s vanity video, instead he was seen through the window like a performing dog, not chasing a frisbee but trying to juggle balls.

In the meantime between giggles and subtle digs, Meghan told unemployed women she would help them get back to work with something called the 40×40 initiative.

McCarthy went on about her friends, saying “Then in comes Harry and he’s like, ‘I can juggle,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, if you juggle you’ll break (the internet). “Then he’s like, ‘Is it going to be weird if I stand outside and juggle?’ I was like, ‘Weird in a way that will make me watch it five million times!’”

Names associated with the 40×40 initiative include Ayesha Curry, Sarah Paulson and Princess Eugenie, who is living in a house the Markle’s have loaned her. Apparently Michelle Obama has moved on from the couple’s sh** show as they were no where to be seen at Barack’s highly publicized (for all the wrong reasons) birthday party this past weekend.

And yet the way McCarthy spins it, “The way she wants to celebrate her 40th is by helping and empowering other women. How do you not get behind that? They don’t take themselves too seriously. She’s like, ‘Let’s do it in a fun way and see if we can drum up more people helping more women kind of get back into the workforce.’ … I was so pleased to be a part of it.”
