Meghan and Harry have thrown shade at both of their families and have tried many laughable attempts to cozy up to celebs and VIPs such as Tom Holland and Zendaya in an attempt to catch some of their “stardust.” So it’s no surprise that they ran away from the royal family and the UK and there appears to be no love lost there.

Could Meghan have strained her relationships with the in-laws even more? According to Vanity Fair, Markle’s relationship with Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was down to the nub by the time she ditched the monarchy.
A royal insider told People, “Everything with Harry and Meghan has been hugely stressful, but if anything, it’s pulled [her and William] closer together after Markle and Harry’s breakout interview with Oprah Winfrey.” According to the source, Kate was greatly upset not because Meghan threw her under the bus twice, but, “Seeing her husband so distraught was tough.”

Although Meghan and Kate have compared as wives of UK princes, there is no comparison. The public asks, ‘Why can’t they be closer, why hasn’t Kate supported Meghan openly?’ Here’s what we know so far about this tricky situation.
Observer reported in March of last year that Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton hadn’t spoken in over a year. Yet The List reports that to be untrue. Kate turned 40 on January 9 and it was reported she talked to both Markle’s in California. If so, this is news for celebration as the thaw may be coming to an end.
Should Buckingham Palace issue a statement about this state of affairs? They do not normally comment on the privates lives of the royals but they did make an exception to refute rumors that Kate got botox! As if there is something wrong with that.

Perhaps Kate’s upset at the way the Markle’s left the monarchy, and have trashed it since, are behind her reluctance to talk about Meghan. Really, what would she say? Talk about Cry-gate as Meghan infamously did to Oprah Winfrey? Overall it seems best to let sleeping dogs lay as they say, and leave the verbal grenades to those who do it best. Speaking of which CHIMPO Harry has a performance coming up in early February.
