Royal Family News: Why Meghan Markle’s Mom Doria Ragland Owns Two Expensive Homes?

British royal family news reveals that not much is known about Meghan the Duchess of Sussex’s mother Doria Ragland. It is believed that she has a property in Montecito, nearby her infamous daughter and her family.

It was once reported that the divorced former social worker lived with the Markle’s but apparently that is not the case as she also has a home in LA.

When she is in Montecito Doria presumably can come and go to visit her grandchildren, Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana. Her and husband Harry daughter bought their Montecito estate in 2020 after running away from the monarchy and his family.

When they relocated to America, Doria had a house in LA, a property which she inherited in 2011 according to Hello! The outlet reports that the inherited house is roughly two hours from her daughter’s home further north.

What exactly does Doria’s LA home look like? “Photos of the exterior show it is complete with a clay roof, lime green exterior, a bay window and palm trees framing either side of the front walkway.”

It is situated, “in the View Park-Windsor Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. It is located between Culver City and Inglewood, just east of Los Angeles International Airport.”

Royal Family News – Where Is Meghan Markle’s Mother’s House?

Doria reportedly inherited the home from her father following his death. “According to a listing on Zillow, it is worth an estimated £678,000, which is the equivalent of £2630 rent per month.”

Zillow describes the property as being 1,400 square feet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Other details of the inside are not known, “but if the design of Meghan’s former homes are anything to go by, it is likely that Doria will have gone for a muted aesthetic.”

In contrast, the Duke and Duchess of Excess’s Montecito property has a guest house (and a stripper pole). That means that Doria has a place to stay when she is in town and, “There were rumors that Doria may move into the home but she has not yet done so, although it is likely that she will spend plenty of time there with her grandchildren Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.”
