Royal Family News: Why Protesters Treating Prince William And Kate Rudely On Caribbean Tour?

British royal family news shows that Prince William and Kate Middleton are in the middle of an 8-day charm offensive in the Caribbean, visiting Commonwealth countries on behalf of Queen Elizabeth. It’s the first time the likeable, relatable couple have been treated with outright rudeness on an official tour. For example, they are now in Jamaica where Lisa Hanna, “a former Miss World turned politician with the People’s National Party, who wants the country to ‘become free from the monarchy,’” turned her head and ignored Kate who was trying to talk to her.

According to People, the backlash they are encountering comes as a result of, “mounting tensions in the Caribbean nations where William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, remains head of state.”

The acrimonious defection of Prince Harry and Meghan and the discrediting of Prince Andrew have damaged the monarchy’s reputation far and wide. But it’s doubtful even Prince Charles wanted it to lose weight so rapidly.”

I think there should have been more consideration by the powers that be before sending William and Kate. If whoever is responsible for organizing this trip had done more research and asked the people of the county if such a visit would be appreciated, for example an opinion poll then they could have avoided upsetting both parties. If they want independence they should have it. However racism contrary to what Whoopi Goldberg thinks applies to anyone hating on people because of their race and/or color, hate is hate a two wrongs don't make a right.
